First Presbyterian Church of Milton is excited to be participating in Operation Christmas Child for our third year! We have already begun collecting shoebox gifts and will continue to do so until November 13th at which time we will pray over the boxes and send them on their journey. This year we are also collecting extra stuffed toys to send along to the packing center for distribution as needed. We feel so blessed to have this opportunity to help spread the gospel to children all over the world!
If you would like to donate packed shoeboxes, or items to be packed into shoebox gifts, we welcome your donations! Simply bring your donation by on any Sunday morning between now and November 13th or contact the church at 623-2510 to arrange a time to drop off your donation.
Are you unfamiliar with Operation Christmas Child and want to learn more? You can find more information about this important mission, including instructions for packing shoebox gifts, here.
Our 4th Annual Holiday Faire will be held on Friday and Saturday, December 2 & 3. This event will include handcrafted items, direct sales vendors, food, drinks, door prizes, and a silent auction! We always have a great time at our Holiday Faire and look forward to seeing you there!
Proceeds from this year's Holiday Faire will be donated to My Father's Arrows, a local 501(c)3 organization that helps foster children, and proceeds from the silent auction will be used for the historic restoration of our 148-year-old sanctuary building. We thank you all for your support of these worthy causes!

Our first-ever 'Coats for Kids' drive was a great success - collecting 68 new and gently used coats for those in need in Santa Rosa County. These coats were donated to students at East Milton Elementary School and Bagdad Elementary School this week.
We would like to thank everyone who donated coats to this important mission. There are so many families in need throughout our community, and every little kindness is so appreciated!
Our prayer is that the recipients of these coats will be a little warmer this winter - not only because they have a warm coat to put on, but because they know that God loves them!
You can read more about this project in the Santa Rosa Press Gazette: http://www.srpressgazette.com/news/20160120/local-church-donates-coats-to-school-children
