Sunday Worship at 9 a.m. 5203 Elmira Street, Milton, FL Livestream
The Church has Left the Building
Ministry happens where a community's God-given gifts meet the world's pain. That conviction drove a Session of FPC Milton to ask two questions that changed everything:
What gifts has God brought together in this place?
Where is the pain?
The answers sent this congregation out into the world.
What follows is where you'll find us.
Offentsive: Outreach in Action
Offentsive is an organization devoted to reaching out to those lost and forgotten...not theoretically, or with some vague spirituality, but physically, emotionally, and morally.
FPC Milton considers Offentsive one of the outreach arm of our mission as a congregation. The Outreach Angels who search the streets, the woods, abandoned buildings, and parking lots for those suffering may not call it Good Shepherd work, but we do.
The spiritual significance of this organization's actions is that they save, comfort, companion, and welcome in those who are lost, just as the Good Shepherd did. Just as the Good Shepherd promised. Just as the Good Shepherd commanded.
So when we say 'they', we mean 'we'. Their work is our work and we stand behind their efforts with all the power and compassion of our faith in a God who saves us. We provide office space, storage areas, food, personal items and whatever else we're called upon to give to this worthiest of missions.
When you support Offentsive, you bear witness to a God who always, always searches out the most vulnerable and welcomes them home.
Tuesday's Table
Every other Tuesday, we share essential groceries with local families. It’s a simple, hands‑on way our church family comes together to care for our neighbors. Prep from 1 - 3 alternate Tuesday's, distribution from 3 - 6 on those days. Check the Calendar for scheduled dates.
Weekly Opportunities
to Serve
Whether you have a few hours a month or a regular Sunday morning to share, there is a place for your unique gifts at FPC Milton. Join us in sharing God’s love with our church and local community.
Sunday Sandwiches
After worship every Sunday, a small crew stays to make sandwiches that go out with Offentsive's network throughout the week. Quiet, consistent, faithful service to the community.
Elmira's Garden
We recognize the Earth as God's Creation, and we care for and protect this gift. Part of this ministry is the community garden we build, plant and tend together. Weeding, planting and picking are ongoing during the growing season! The harvest is shared by all.
Community Team
Connect with others by joining a team that organizes gatherings and small group study.
Do you feel called?
Worship Support
Help our Sunday service run smoothly as an usher, flower arranger, or reader.
Every one of these ministries runs on willing hands and open hearts. If something here speaks to you, that's probably not a coincidence.
Care Visits
Bring a piece of the church to members who cannot attend Sunday services in person.
Food Delivery
Help us prepare and deliver food to local immigrant communities as a sign of hospitality.
Food Raising Friends
We collect canned goods to support FrF who connect children with nutritious food during school breaks to ensure they thrive and succeed.
Heart Pine Community Studio
If you have creative talent to share, Heart Pine Studio is the place to share it. Contact FPC to discuss your idea!
Allyship
If you or someone you know needs a space of affirmation and love, please join us for the important work of building and spreading safe and loving community. We cannot wait to welcome you in!
Dogwood Acres
This camp has a special place in our childhood memories and in our ministry. An outdoor retreat for both youth and adults, FPC is privileged to support its mission of connection and recreation.
Focused Ministry Suggestion
We see ministry through the lens of the gospel. We empower the whole community to envision and manifest the ministries God calls them to, with the support of church leadership.
Our ministry goals are to make life better for members of the entire local community, and to heal the pain we find there.
Our congregants, in teams of two, are invited to propose the ministries they want to start while our elders help them develop their ideas, find community partners, and coordinate the spaces at Elmira’s Place where their ministries can thrive.
Have a ministry you feel called to launch or engage? If it has to do with easing hurt or isolation or difficulty for people you know are struggling or searching for more, let us know. We’ve got just the Place!
