Thursday, April 1st, we will have a service at 6 p.m. celebrating Holy Thursday. Jo Kublik will be leading the worship, and we will also have communion.
Holy Thursday, also known as Maundy Thursday, commemorates the Washing of the Feet and the Last Supper. The term "Maundy" comes from the Latin mandatum, or commandment, referring to Jesus's new commandment. Holy Thursday starts the Easter Triduum, the three days in which Christ's passion, death, and resurrection take place. Join us this Sunday, March 28th at 9 a.m. to celebrate Palm Sunday. The palm branches symbolize victory and triumph over death. It is the feast that falls on the Sunday prior to Easter. On this day we celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, one week before His resurrection. We look forward to seeing you here!
On March 7, 2021, we will resume services for worship in the sanctuary. Jo Kublik will lead and we will celebrate communion. All covid protocols will be observed, masks to be worn, social distancing to be practiced, no socializing in the aisles, no hugging or hand shaking. Please enjoy your conversations after the service out of doors. We look forward to having everyone back. Please spread the word.
